Here’s the thing. I’m not saying to be illogical and live off bread and ice cream, but there’s a lot of gray area in fitness and nutrition that will actually help you stay on track in the long run.
The first step is to determine your goal. At KALFIT, we create this during our Free consultation. I can’t count how many times I hear from people that say I need to lose fat and put on some lean muscle. Yes, this is a good first step, but in sitting down and listening to their story, we realize it more about feeling better about ourselves, moving better without being in pain or out of breathe; etc…
In fact, there’s no one right way to do this. It is different for each of us. You have strengths that we will build off of in order to eliminate or reduce your weaknesses. This is our approach to good health.
If you have found that you’re just not hungry in the mornings and skipping breakfast doesn’t cause you to overeat later in the day, then SKIP breakfast! It’ll get you into a caloric deficit that aids your fat loss, if this is your goal.
If you crave sugar, find a way to incorporate your favorite thing every day (yes, every day!) in small quantities to keep yourself from feeling deprived and binging.
It’s different for everyone, there is no all or none in your health, and that’s just the truth. You are a unique being, meaning that there is only one of you in the whole world. You finding what works or doesn’t work is unique to you and you only. This is how we work our clients and members at KALFIT
Find the gray area that works for you, stick to it, and watch the results show up.
