Too often in the realm of fitness we rely on willpower to get us to our end result.
But we all kinda know how that turns out. Our mind is not always as strong as we need it to be. Outside factors can always play a role in reducing or eliminating all together the will of our minds.
For example, we lose motivation and we discover willpower is incredibly finite.
So instead, let’s look at some mindset hacks to make this whole longevity thing around health and fitness much easier…
Here are 3 mindsets you MUST possess if you want to get and stay fit:
1. Focus on consistency over everything else. The best thing you can do is keep showing up and not quit. Having a coach plays a huge role. Someone there to keep you accountable.
2. Have a long-term mindset. This means that no matter how you feel one day, what the scale says, or what you hear or see on the internet; etc. that you stay on track. This is knowing what you’re making that commit to regarding your health is forever, and not just for a certain event, or until you’re a certain size, or achieve a certain weight. You must understand and accept this responsibility. Having a coach who is committed as well in assisting you day in and day out is absolutely a huge benefit.
3. Find inspiration daily. Whether it’s listening to podcasts, reading, journaling…it doesn’t really matter (find what works for you that draws your interest). Find a way to activate inspiration for your path forward every single day. Again, having a coach to provide you an experience each day during your training session can provide you that innovative pump to keep you inspired throughout your day.
